Everything Ends

Damn ego,
Slowly sinking with the sun.
Damn fame—
never permanent, fleeting in its plights.
Damn beauty,
Fading ugly with the turning clock.
Damn criticism,
soaked in suffocating breath.
Damn certificates,
Lost among forgotten letters.
Damn wealth,
Decaying like an old toothache.
Damn energy,
running wild through the eyes of the restless goose.

CP Hospital Dhangadhi

Everything buried in graveyard,
Swirling in the holy ashes of crematoriums,
A reincarnation of distant species
whose power is never ephemeral.
Disappearing into a strange canvas,
the eternal void prefers the naked body—
Empty-handed and powerless,
an anatomy of impermanence—bare souls
and motionless forms with blind eyes
buried names, and silent thoughts
lying beneath the fog-soaked weather.
